A pre acceptance interview is held to ascertain that the candidate possesses good interpersonal and excellent communication and listening skills which will enhance working with clients and a well-groomed appearance, all desirable qualities for this type of learning program.
Moreover, applicants must be meticulous in their work, demonstrate presicion and attention to detail. They must be vigilent in identifying contraindication to eyelash extension treatments.

The Award in Eyelash Extensions offered by Beauty Tech Hair and Beauty Academy is a comprehensive programme designed to equip learners with the theoretical knowledge, health and safety practices, and practical skills required to apply, maintain, and safely remove several types of semi-permanent eyelash extensions.
The learner will be able to

Perform several types of eyelash extensions in a safe and hygienic manner, having carried out a consultation to determine client’s wishes and identify any limiting factors.

Carry out hygiene and sanitisation before, during and after the service.

Create a client consultation form - before the first treatment and update it on subsequent visits.

Prepare all Materials and Tools needed to set up an eyelash extensions station.

Provide patch test to a client to avoid allergic reactions.
The course is held in a classroom environment.
Sessions are a mix of theory and practical sessions. Theory sessions develop knowledge base. Practical sessions on dummy faces initially, then on live models.
Thus, students will boost their technical skills.
Periodic written homework is given to ensure a clear grasp of the knowledge needed to successfully achieve the desired result.
