BTC01 BeautyTech Award in Nail Extensions and Enhancement Services EQF Level 2

Course is held on 9 consecutive weeks, lessons every Tuesday from 09:30-13:30

110hrs total – 30 hours contact, 5 hours Assessment (3

practical and 2 theory) and 75 hours self study.

At the end of the course students are expected to:

 • have a good understanding of the skin, and nail anatomy, 

• have an understanding of diseases and disorders that can limit the treatment options, 

• Knowledge of health and safety in the nail salon environment, 

• Perform treatments on including preparing, filing and shaping the nails, 

• enhancing and building the nails, 

• application of gel polish.
